I’m so happy you’re here :)

I can’t wait to embark on this journey with you all and share my love for fashion with the internet<3 But, before I get into the fun stuff, I wanted to provide a little context into why I’m doing this. Super briefly, here are 5 reasons why…

3. Fashion Time Capsule for Future Me

Over the pandemic, I was looking through my photo gallery and realized what a style change I've had over the years and how interesting it was to see how I have evolved with it. Thus, for the longest time, I've wanted to create a time capsule that showcased my style evolution, but didn't know what direction to take it in. Recently, I started thinking about it more seriously and I wanted to put this together somehow and document it for future Amrita.

Late one night, I was watching Clueless and got inspired by Cher's virtual wardrobe/outfit generator. I got the idea to compile all of the notable outfits I have worn over the years to provide inspo to others and thought, “What better place to put it, than the internet?” So, with my website design experience, a bit of copywriting, and some quick Adobe photo editing, here we are!

4. Passion for Marketing, Web Design, and Content Creation

I am currently entering my third year of my Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree and ever since I began working in marketing for startups, I’ve realized I love it. I find it very interesting how consumers think and how business owners and marketing professionals can use this to market their products in a way that will instantly grasp attention. I love branding, consumer behavior, website design, photo editing, and content creation, so all I had to do was put it all together! I’ve been learning a lot of new things about design, copywriting, and marketing in the web space and I’m super excited to learn more as I embark on this journey of branding myself, through fashion!

5. The Struggle of Finding Unique Style Inspo

One thing about me is that I love seeing how others style their clothes. But oftentimes, I have a hard time finding people who suit my ‘all over the place' style. Thus, I thought I would share outfit inspiration for people who share my struggle. So, if you are similar in the sense that one day you’re feeling Y2K and the next, you’re going all out ‘cottagecore’, you’ve come to the right place. Here, you can embrace your chaotic and ever-changing style, so that by day you are sporting ‘workplace chic’ and by night you are runway ready!
